1st Workshop: “Psoriasis: Comorbidities”

Guest: Philip Mease – Former president and founding organizer of the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA). A Stanford University graduate, he completed residency in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at the University of Washington. He is currently Director of the Division of Rheumatology Research at Swedish Medical Center and Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington, Seattle.

• Valderílio Feijó, MD, PhD – Associate Professor of Rheumatology and Vice-Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). President-elect of the Brazilian Society of Rheumatology (2026–2028).

• Sueli Carneiro, MD, PhD – Full Professor in the Department of Medical Specialties at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, UERJ, and collaborating faculty in the Graduate Programs in Pathological Anatomy and Internal Medicine at UFRJ.

Guest: Fernando Pimentel-Santos, MD, PhD – Associate Professor with tenure at NOVA Medical School, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Musculoskeletal Disease Physiotherapy, Principal Investigator at the NMS Research Laboratory of Rheumatic Diseases, and Senior Rheumatologist and Director of Pre- and Post-Graduate Education at ULS Lisboa Ocidental, Portugal.
