Permanent faculty member of the Graduate Programs in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine at UFRJ. Engaged in activities at the Coordination of Hospital Infection Control at the Clementino Fraga Filho University Hospital, UFRJ. Her research focuses on hospital infections, with primary interests in the epidemiology and treatment of infections in severely ill and oncological patients, infections caused by multidrug-resistant bacteria, and fungal infections.
