profileHolds a degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of Marília (2000); a medical residency in Infectious Diseases from the Federal University of São Paulo/Paulista School of Medicine (2003); a master's degree in Internal Medicine (concentration area: hematology) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2006); a doctorate in Medicine (Infectious and Parasitic Diseases) from UFRJ (2011); and a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Junior Postdoctoral Program (CNPq Scholarship) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She primarily works in the following areas: infections in immunosuppressed patients, onco-hematology, transplants, and healthcare-associated infections. She is currently an Adjunct Professor of Medicine (Department of Internal Medicine) at the Faculty of Medicine - UFRJ, coordinator of the Undergraduate Course, and a Permanent Faculty Member of the Graduate Program in Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of UFRJ (CAPES Concept 7). She also works as an infectious disease specialist in the Transplant Program at the Niterói Hospital Complex - DASA. She is a member of the Infection Committees of the Hematology, Hemotherapy, and Cellular Therapy Society (ABHH) and the Brazilian Society of Bone Marrow Transplantation (SBTMO).
