Graduated in Physical Therapy from the Brazilian Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine - IBMR (2007), with a master's degree (2010) and a PhD (2014) in Biological Sciences (Physiology) from the Carlos Chagas Filho Institute of Biophysics, UFRJ, including a sandwich doctorate period (CAPES) at the Technische Universität Dresden, Germany (2013). Postdoctoral researcher (2019) at the Pulmonary Investigation Laboratory of UFRJ. Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Physical Therapy, Department of Cardiorespiratory and Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy at UFRJ. Works on projects related to: 1) Ventilatory strategies in lung diseases; 2) Pulmonary biological markers; 3) Physiological interactions between the Respiratory System and Nervous System. Has experience in the areas of: 1) Physiology, with an emphasis on respiratory physiology and pathophysiology; 2) Physical Therapy, with an emphasis on Cardiorespiratory Physical Therapy and Intensive Care.
