Served as president of the Brazilian Tuberculosis Research Network (2009-2011), senior consultant for the InCo-TB project (National Tuberculosis Program in partnership with the Ataulpho de Paiva Foundation, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation from 2010 to 2013), key personnel for the ICOHRTA project (funded by NIH, 2005-2012), representative of Academia (2010-2012) and Professional Bodies and Societies (2012-2017) in the Executive Secretariat of the Brazilian Tuberculosis Partnership, and academic coordinator of the Tuberculosis Scientific League of Rio de Janeiro. Experienced in Medicine, with a focus on Public Health, Global Health, Infectious Diseases, Health Technology Assessments, and Medical Education, primarily in tuberculosis and health economic evaluations. Engages in national collaborations with UEPA, UFRJ, UFC, FMTDHV, SMS-POA, Manaus, SP, Recife, RJ, and international collaborations with McGill University (Canada), Amsterdam Institute for Global Health and Development (Netherlands), Otago University (New Zealand), London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and Imperial College (UK), Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore), Vanderbilt University (Nashville, USA), University of Cape Town and Stellenbosch University (South Africa), All India Institute and Novosibirsk Research Institute (Russian Federation), and OMS.
